Area Customer Care Manager:

Lennar is seeking an vibrant Area Customer Care Manager who will m anage complex customer care claims regarding structural deficiencies that requiring high level project management. Manages all aspects of the claim from initial investigation through completion including bid negotiations, attorney contacts and full schedule control through the project life.

Responsibilities


  • Make initial customer contact and set expectations for large scale repairs.
  • Act as primary point of contact for customers through the life of the repair project.
  • Manage customer expectations and when necessary schedule and facilitate customer’s exit and re-entry of their home.
  • Partner with company attorneys for releases and filing of claims against at fault vendors.
  • Solicit bids from vendors for all repairs and provide recommendations to Division leadership for vendor usage.
  • Create and maintain schedule and financial log for all repair costs and customer expenses/per diem.
  • Review and approve all costs associated with each project.
  • Manage vendors for completion of quality work by agreed upon deadlines.
  • Be familiar with each trade partners “scope of work” and assure that properly completed work is certified for payment only.
  • Responsible for successful delivery of completed repairs according to the agreed upon schedule and budget.
  • Maintain positive homeowner relations; provide homeowner with knowledgeable, timely and professional response to telephone inquiries and resolve difficult issues through personal involvement, including in person visits.
  • Provide regular project updates to Division executive leaders.


Qualifications


  • Thorough knowledge of building codes and industry standard building practices.
  • Minimum High School diploma or equivalent required, college degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years’ of experience in Project Management, preferably with construction, required
  • Minimum 5 years’ of experience in Customer Service, preferably with a homebuilder, required
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering reports and details required
  • Extensive knowledge and familiarity with carpentry, structural design, engineered wood products and failure analysis
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record and valid auto insurance coverage required.
  • Intermediate to advanced PC skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
