About the role

As CMO, you will own 1mind’s marketing function end-to-end. You will define and communicate our brand, market positioning, and category thesis; build the narrative that differentiates us in the crowded AI and sales-tech space; and lead the go-to-market marketing strategy to drive awareness, pipeline, and revenue. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role — you’ll combine strategic thinking with tactical execution, especially early on as we scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand & Category Creation: Define and own 1mind’s brand identity, tone, voice, and market positioning.

  • Narrative Architecture & Product Marketing: Translate 1mind’s technical, AI-driven capabilities into compelling, customer-centric stories. Work closely with Product, GTM and the CEO to shape messaging that resonates with ICPs

  • Go-to-Market Strategy & Demand Creation: Design and execute the marketing motion - from brand awareness and thought leadership to demand generation, content, positioning, and launch plans. Ensure marketing strategy supports pipeline generation, conversion, and expansion.

  • Customer & Market Insight: Develop a deep understanding of our buyer personas, market dynamics, GTM constraints, and buyer pain-points. Use qualitative and quantitative feedback to refine positioning, messaging, and go-to-market tactics.

  • Foundational Asset Building: Personally lead creation of foundational go-to-market assets such as website copy, positioning decks, case studies, content, brand guidelines, and demand-gen campaigns.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate tightly with Product, Sales, RevOps, Customer Success, and CEO to align on vision, GTM strategy, and execution. Serve as the marketing leader, unifying brand, product, and sales narratives.

About you

  • 10+ years of B2B marketing experience - ideally in enterprise software with at least some recent experience in an AI-native environment.

  • Demonstrated track record of building a brand and category from scratch, preferably in a crowded or emerging space.

  • Strong product marketing sensibility - ability to understand complex, technical offerings and distill them into clear, compelling narrative and positioning.

  • Hands-on builder - comfortable writing copy, producing content, shaping brand identity, building early GTM assets - not just managing a team.

  • Data-informed storyteller - uses both qualitative and quantitative feedback to iterate positioning and marketing strategy.

  • Energized by high-ambiguity, high-velocity startup environments.
