As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be the first friendly face (or voice!) that potential customers encounter. Your mission? Spark interest, open doors, build connections, and tee up our Account Executives for success.

But here’s the best part: this isn’t just a BDR role. It’s a career track opportunity designed to fast-track you into an Account Executive role within 12 to 18 months. We’ll provide the training, mentorship, and milestones you need to level up. As you check off key achievements, you’ll be promoted into a full-cycle AE position where you’ll own client relationships and close deals.

What You'll Do:

● Hunt & Discover: Use HubSpot, LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, AI-powered tools, cold calls, and emails to uncover new opportunities. ● Target Smart: Research, build, and refine target lists of ideal customer profiles and key personas. ● Engage Prospects: Nurture warm leads, qualify inbound opportunities, and spark meaningful conversations. ● Boost Events: Drive attendance and engagement at tradeshows and webinars—while earning opportunities to attend conferences and industry events yourself. ● Fuel the Pipeline: Deliver a steady stream of qualified opportunities to Account Executives. ● Open New Doors: Proactively introduce ConCntric to potential clients in compelling ways. ● Report & Refine: Share weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to help sharpen our playbook. ● Grow Toward AE: Work toward defined milestones in performance, skills, and pipeline development that prepare you for promotion into an Account Executive role. You bring the curiosity, creativity, and a passion for connecting the dots between customer needs and our solutions and we’ll bring the training resources and on-the-job experience needed to grow together.

Objectives of this role ● Represent the company’s products and services, using comprehensive knowledge as well as consumer research to explain how our solutions meet customer needs ● Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding potential new sales opportunities ● Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage account executives in next steps ● Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook

Responsibilities ● Utilize Hubspot, LinkedIn, Apollo, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities ● Building target lists of ICPs and personas within those ICPs ● Drive attendance to tradeshows and webinars ● Identify the needs of prospects, and suggest appropriate products or services ● Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities ● Present our company to potential clients ● Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market ● Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and account executives ● Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results ● Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities ● Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails ● Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans

Required skills and qualifications ● One or more years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets ● Strong communication skills via phone and email ● Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills ● Strong desire and ability to move up within a sales organization

Preferred skills and qualifications ● Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or at least two years of relevant work experience ● Experience as a Business Development Representative, with a track record of achieving sales quotas ● Proficiency with Hubspot, LinkedIn, Google Workspace, Apollo, Zoom Info and other tools within the sales tech stack
