What You’ll Do.
THE ROLE: AMAZON BUSINESS ASSOCIATE
The Amazon Business Associate is responsible for driving day-to-day operations helping to deliver continued growth to the brand’s Amazon.com business – reflecting US, Canada, and future International markets. The role will support the implementation of strategic vision and contribute to the development of a roadmap to deliver success in an ever-changing Amazon E-commerce space. The Associate will help execute an agile strategy that leverages historical brand success and existing market trends to achieve topline revenue targets as well as gross margin and contribution benchmarks. They will partner directly with the Amazon Business Manager as well as cross-functionally with departments including organic and paid marketing, retail sales, brand, operations, and finance to deliver against department goals and total company OKRs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain weekly/monthly/quarterly reporting for clear visibility on key business KPIs. Communicate trends to Department, Cross Functional and Leadership teams. Partner with Amazon Sales Manager to adjust reporting as needed to capture market trends and actionable insights.
- Leverage sales trends to maintain demand planning forecast. Partner with Demand and Supply Planning Team in Order and Shipment creation to maintain adequate product inventory health across assortment.
- Maintain Product Detail Page Health inclusive of Titles, Copy, Imagery, Enhanced Content and Backend Keywords to ensure product discoverability. Conduct regular audits of competitive set to inform broader business category growth strategy applying findings to channel content strategy.
- Partner with Amazon Strategic Account Services (SAS Core) Team to ensure Brand Health and availability across all items within assortment. Champion the management of support cases end to end to ensure transactability of assortment.
- Partner with Amazon Business Manager to maintain short-term and long-term pipeline for Amazon as well as product launch cycle end to end to meet deadlines and deliver against innovation revenue targets.

This person is highly organized and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally. Additionally, this candidate has a remarkable ability to remain calm and flexible in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, high growth collaborative environment. A true ambassador for EMJ, both internally and externally.
CAPABILITIES + SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, economics, business, science or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in eCommerce with a focus on Amazon.com preferred
- A background contributing to the success of Ecommerce businesses inclusive of product forecasts, PDP Optimizations, and delivering on monthly topline and bottom-line revenue goals.
- Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to work through data to find opportunities and actionable insights that are not readily apparent and clearly communicate them to a diverse set of stakeholders in understandable and actionable ways.
- Understanding of product demand cycle. Analyze sales trends, forecast demand, and collaborate with supply chain and production teams to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Understanding and experience in implementing and maintain product promotional calendars.
- Strong track record of effective collaboration with creative, operation, and product management teams.
- Experience in growth-stage company preferred.
