Responsibilities

Procurement

  • Preparing budgets, estimating costs, and negotiating prices with suppliers
  • Reviewing bids from potential suppliers to ensure they are fair and reasonable
  • Overseeing the purchasing process to ensure that it is compliant with federal regulations
  • Identifying potential suppliers of goods or services who can meet specific needs or provide new opportunities for growth
  • Developing and managing long-term relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent delivery of high quality products or services
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors who can provide products or services at a reasonable price
  • Reviewing purchase orders for accuracy and approving payment for goods or services received
  • Reviewing and auditing supplier invoices for accuracy and discrepancies
  • Establishing an inventory management system to track goods as they are purchased and delivered to the company
  • Lead and manage all aspects of logistics and procurement operations

Logistics

  • Ensuring that all products are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications
  • Managing the inventory of materials to ensure there is enough stock of all items needed to complete projects or tasks
  • Identifying and implementing methods to increase efficiency in the supply chain process, such as developing new shipping routes or finding ways to reduce fuel consumption on delivery vehicles
  • Coordinating shipping operations, including hiring truck drivers and scheduling deliveries
  • Establishing relationships with vendors and suppliers to obtain the best prices for materials and services
  • Ensuring that compliance with all federal and state regulations regarding shipping and transportation is met
  • Preparing budgets for shipping operations based on projected demand for products or services
  • Making sure that large equipment such as machinery or vehicles are delivered safely, on time, and in good condition
  • Assisting with maintenance of facilities such as warehouses, shipping docks, and storage lots to ensure they are safe and operational

Systems Integration

  • Manage, develop, and grow the logistics team while supporting the scale of Ojjo’s business
  • Work directly with stakeholders and business leaders to understand business objectives, identify process, and system requirements to enable Ojjo to scale globally
  • Act as change agent by providing effective change management leadership and support so that the change vision is delivered through applying innovative solutions and leveraging standardized processes, tools, best practice sharing across team
  • Develop, manage, and prioritize a pipeline of projects for continuous improvement to help Ojjo work smarter and not just harder
  • Build a roadmap of process, systems, integrations, IT, and controls to leverage NetSuite into a fulfilled ERP and ‘source of truth’
  • Integration of PLM (Arena) with NetSuite
  • Roll out Demand Planning and MRP functionality with a robust S&OP process
  • Scope projects, identify resource and investment requirements, articulate deliverables, develop timelines, and manage implementation.
  • Calculate benefits and present business cases for system projects
  • Lead program management activities for projects by identifying key stakeholders, establishing project plans, developing communication strategies, ensuring sign-off on all major deliverables by stakeholders
  • Facilitate alignment between Systems and IT functions and the rest of the business
  • Manage third party suppliers of systems and IT
  • Support developing organizational expertise through VSM’s and workshops while working across departments
  • Develop and maintain training tools for ERP standard processes, so all users of the system can be familiar with the standard ERP toolbox, how to apply, and where to go for instructions and training

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in Supply Chain Operations
  • Minimum 3 years’ Project Management experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in successfully managing enterprise IT in Supply Chain and Operations, ERP or manufacturing shop floor transformations, in large, multi-national organizations
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the United States on an on-going basis without Company sponsorship
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or System Administration from an accredited institution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and professional presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must possess professional PowerPoint presentation skills with significant experience in MS Excel; being able to create, evaluate and present business case results
  • Experience with Arena and NetSuite preferred
