Position Summary
We are seeking a Manager, Technical Sales – Services and eBOS, to lead the technical sales
strategy and support for our Services and Electrical Balance of System (eBOS) offerings.The role will be reporting in to our Sr. Director, Global Sales Engineering. This
role is critical in providing technical expertise, managing customer relationships, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet our
clients' needs.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead technical pre-sales activities for Nextracker’s Services and eBOS offerings, including commissioning, O&M, SCADA, and retrofit packages.
• Manage and mentor a team of technical sales engineers, ensuring consistent execution and professional development.
• Engage with key stakeholders (Owners, EPCs, Operators) to scope retrofit and lifecycle service opportunities, analyze asset data, and craft ROI-driven service models.
• Respond to RFPs and RFIs with detailed technical responses, bid qualifications, and alignment meetings.
• Collaborate with internal teams to continuously evolve our Services and eBOS product portfolio based on customer feedback and field insights.
• Represent Services and eBOS during trade shows, webinars, and technical workshops.
• Maintain accurate sales forecasting and pipeline tracking via Salesforce and other CRM systems.
• Travel up to 25% to customer sites, conferences, and internal workshops.

Qualifications
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent technical
experience.
• 8+ years of experience in solar project engineering, field services, technical sales, or retrofit/O&M strategy.
• Deep knowledge of utility-scale PV system architecture, including eBOS components, SCADA systems, trackers, and commissioning processes.
• Experience in crafting technical solutions that drive customer ROI, especially in lifecycle management and retrofits.
• Proven ability to build trust with field teams, owner-operators, and EPC stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and proposal writing skills.
• Proficient in Salesforce, and Excel-based cost modeling.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to mentor others.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
Preferred:
• Prior experience with retrofit sales, SCADA upgrades, tracker O&M, or post-warranty support programs.
• Hands-on experience with PV field operations or technical support.
• MBA or advanced commercial/technical training.
• Familiarity with industry software tools for layout, energy modeling, or commissioning.

Pay is based on market location and may vary based on factors including experience, skills, education and other job-related reasons. The annual salary range for this position is 150,000.00 to 160,000.00. Salary range is based on a base salary, along with a commission structure based on commission calculation, such as a percentage of sales or specific metrics.
