Description

About the Role:

At OLarry, you will play a key role in managing tax compliance for our high-net-worth clients and business owners, while identifying opportunities to optimize tax strategies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing tax preparation and review, staying current on tax law changes, and supporting clients through audits and strategic planning. You will also collaborate with our AI and technology teams to streamline tax workflows and enhance client outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review individual, partnership, Corporation, and trust tax returns.
  • Take ownership of client relationships and tax-related communications while collaborating closely with other Tax Managers, Directors, and team members to deliver a seamless, high-quality client experience.
  • Perform technical tax research and provide practical solutions to client issues.
  • Identify opportunities to minimize effective tax rates through proactive planning.
  • Oversee compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Assist with entity structuring and multi-state tax planning.

Bonus: Proactively identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships while also sourcing and closing new high-net-worth and business clients as part of OLarry’s business development efforts, including referrals, outbound introductions, and strategic networking.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA / EA license preferred.
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge in individual and pass-through entity taxation.
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Comfortable working in a technology-driven, fast-paced environment.
