At Yardzen, we believe people are at their best when they’re outside.
Our mission is simple: help people envision the outdoor spaces of their dreams, entirely online, and connect them with trusted local contractors to bring those designs to life. Since our launch in 2018, we’ve empowered thousands of homeowners to transform their outdoor spaces, make sustainable choices, enhance property value, and enjoy life outdoors.
We’re transforming the $200 billion outdoor renovation industry with AI, data, and technology—offering a modern, seamless, and transparent design-build experience. Recognized as a Fast Company Most Innovative Company and named to Inc. Magazine’s Best Places to Work, our work has been featured in Architectural Digest, The New York Times, Sunset Magazine, House Beautiful, The Wall Street Journal, and Forbes. And we’re just getting started.
We’re looking for a strategic, growth-minded Vice President of Revenue to lead and align all revenue-driving functions at Yardzen. This role will sit at the intersection of Finance, Marketing and Product, report directly to our co-founder and CEO and serve as a key member of the leadership team. Our new VP of Revenue will play a critical role in accelerating Yardzen’s direct-to-consumer growth, optimizing the customer journey and driving long-term value through operational excellence and cross-functional alignment.
You’ll act as a strategic partner to our CEO, contributing to company-wide planning, participating in board meetings, and helping shape the future of the business.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling DTC businesses, leading high-performing teams, and collaborating across departments to achieve aggressive revenue goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Yardzen’s integrated revenue strategy across marketing, sales, and operations, with a focus on accelerating DTC growth.
  • Partner closely with the VP of Marketing to align revenue goals with go-to-market plans and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve conversion and efficiency through operational and strategic initiatives.
  • Build and refine scalable processes that increase efficiency and margin across the revenue funnel.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Marketing and Product to inform pricing strategy, product packaging, and business forecasting.
  • Establish and track performance metrics to inform strategic planning and continuous improvement.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience in revenue, marketing or operational leadership roles at high-growth DTC or consumer-focused companies.
  • Experience partnering with executive leadership and contributing to board-level strategy and reporting.
  • Deep understanding of the DTC business model and what drives growth, from brand and performance marketing to fulfillment and customer success.
  • Demonstrated success aligning different functions toward shared revenue and customer experience goals.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a data-first approach to problem-solving.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership abilities - you inspire teams, simplify complex problems, and drive results.
  • Experience in service or project-based consumer businesses is a plus.
  • Passion for design, home improvement, sustainability, and Yardzen’s mission is a strong bonus.

What We Offer:

  • Remote work, always: We're a remote-first company
  • Full coverage for you: 100% paid medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Competitive compensation: Salary that matches your skills and experience
  • Support for growing families: 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave
  • Monthly perks: Wellness, cell phone, and internet stipends to keep you connected and cared for
At Yardzen, we’re committed to creating a space where our employees can bring their full selves to work and have equal opportunities to succeed. We are looking for people that will add to our culture, not just fit in. So regardless of race, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, religion, origin, ability, age, or veteran status, if joining this mission speaks to you, we encourage you to apply!
